We Are Alive!

So it's been too long since I updated the blog!! Life has been life...and it has been busy. Plus I have been working part time which has made things even more hectic! Here is a recent picture of Ella Kay from last weeks trip to the park! She loves the park!

15th Months!!

Fifteen Months and One Day 

Here are a few pictures of Ella Kay at 15 months!! She is growing so quickly!! Ella Kay went to the Dr. for her 15th months check up on my birthday 06-20. She was 32" tall and 23lbs 8oz. She is in the 90% for height and 75%  for weight. Dr. Cochran said she has really gotten tall since her last visit. She is walking so good now, dare I say almost running. She can say many words but only a few are in context. Mama, Dada and Mimi (my Mom) are the top three. She loves to pretend talk on the phone. Anything can be a phone (the remote, a toy, hairbrush etc.). I've been told that infants and children like music. Well my child loves music and to dance!! We have been enjoying the baby pool in the back yard this summer. And some trips to the park, the swing is her favorite. She still has 12 teeth. We had to get 2 shots at this check up and she was not a happy camper!! Next week Ella Kay and I will start Time N Tots, an early childhood music class, she is going to love it!

She has to have Teddy to sleep with and sometimes Monkey too.

FIRST Birthday Party!

On Saturday March 16, Ella Kay's first birthday party was at our home in Owens Cross Roads. Ella Kay really loved the cake, just watch the video below. I wanted to have Ella Kay's one year pictures as decor for the party. Most of all I was hoping it would be sunny! It turned out to be a beautiful day!

My cousin Tequila made this burlap door hanger for Ella Kay's special day. She did a wonderful job, as always! 

The entrance table when coming in the front door. I didn't seem to take a picture of the actual table and items on it?? But here you can see the banner and picture above it. There were also pink and green gingham birthday hats on the entrance table, but no pictures to post. .There was a wish wall also for guests to hang their wishes for the birthday girl...

There were two different sets of invitations that were sent out. I do not have any pictures to post, but have them saved in her baby book to look back at. These favor boxes were used to fill with goodies from the candy table.

Unfortunately I wasn't the greatest picture taker this day. I do not have one single picture of the food table. On the menu: Veggie Pizza, Chicken Salad Croissants, Pasta Salad, Strawberry Fruit Salad and Pink Lemonade.
